The requested materials will help make a tremendous difference in my students' learning. The tools will help during center time and students will have the option to apply what they learned to STEM-based activities. Hands-on learning is proven to help students be more engaged and have fun while learning. Working with first and second grade gifted scholars, it is important to have a class library with challenging texts and diverse texts for students to read. That will also not only help them find a love for reading but help them begin reading complex texts at an early age.
