For the girl who arrived to a new country just this summer, and the boy who is working so hard to learn a new language, the students who participate in our dual language program, this is for them. My mission is to create easy and quick access to books that will meet the needs of all students in my classroom. My focus with this project is to add books in Spanish to our classroom library for my students who are English Language Learners or for my students who are participating in the dual language program. Students need quick, easy access to high interest books on their independent reading level to make progress in their literacy skills and to cultivate a love of reading.
