By transforming my classroom into a construction area my students will benefit by learning how to calculate perimeter and area using real world problems. The students will be transformed into construction workers figuring out the area and perimeter at different stations in the classroom. The goal is to keep students engaged by having students up and moving while they learn the concept of area and perimeter in our classroom by working together to solve different problems in the Construction Zone. Students are motivated when learning is made to be fun and engaging.

About my class
