Students have been learning from home for the last year. During this time, we have continued to teach academic material but we have seen an increased need for teaching social and emotional skills as well. Not only do students have a difficult time learning these skills at home because they are not interacting with a group of other kids, they will also need extra practice with them when returning to in-person school after such a long time. These books and activities will create a fun and interactive way for students to learn about their emotions and how to respond to them whether they remain virtual or return in person. These materials will be able to be used year after year to create a fun and safe learning environment to many students.

About my class
