Many students in my district are struggling significantly. The pandemic has highlighted that many students cannot read and many students are really struggling due to lead exposure. As a result, the number of students who are needing Evaluation Team Reports has increased. I’m needing to spend more time in my office writing reports and meeting virtually with students, parents, and other staff. These reports describe the students difficulties and directly drive their IEP's. The printer and ink needed would directly benefit students with disabilities and students who are having difficulty accessing the curriculum. I would be able to quickly complete reports, which gets our most vulnerable students what they need faster. Since a majority of my job involves paperwork and report writing, increasing my productivity would allow me time to reach more than students involved in special education. I would be able to proactively support all student's mental health and behavioral needs.
