As an Itinerant special education teacher, I am traveling between preschool sites, private childcare centers, and homes in various locations and from various economic backgrounds. I often bring materials with me in order to target individual student's educational needs based on their IEP goals and areas of developmental delay. These materials will assist my students in gaining access and opportunities to target their delays and meet their educational goals while they remain a part of an inclusive setting amongst their non-disabled peers. Too often environments are lacking in materials that target developmental delays.
