My students and I will be gathering in our meeting area and then working around the room using Work Places with the Math Bridges Program. However, they are replacing the carpet floor with tile which is not as comfortable for students to sit on as a nice cozy carpet. Therefore, I want a comfortable area in our classroom for my kids to meet during the mini-lesson which the large rug will provide. Another part of the Bridges Math program is Work Places. Materials need to be organized for students to play games at 6 different work centers. The containers will allow students to independently grab the Work Place and required materials to use. We work hard to promote independence in our students and these would be a great stepping stone to help them!
