Our orchestra program has seen dramatic growth in recent years, including a growing number of students who's families can't afford to purchase instruments. Our goal is to increase the number of quality instruments in our inventory so more kids can play cello. Our school community used to be a scattering of houses in semi-rural farm land, but as the population has grown, we have an increasing number of condominium complexes and large apartment blocks. The families who have moved in to our school boundaries want their students to be part of the music program, but can't always afford an instrument. We need more instruments to accommodate further growth in the program.
