The use of the computer is essential to distance learning. We have been in an era where we have had to adapt to a new learning style. A document camera would help me give my students a more authentic learning experience. I would be able to write, solve problems, give examples, and much more as if they were sitting in the classroom with me. I cannot tell you how many times I have tried to write with the mouse on the computer screen and it was ineligible. Distance learning should be adaptable and mimic the Face to face experience. I want my students to feel as if we are all sitting in the same classroom. I do not want them to one day return to school and not remember what it feels as if it is all new to them. I want to provide them with the same authentic teaching.
