These materials will assist in doing more accurate measurements of temperature in our unit for planning and carrying out an investigation related to the relationship between temperature, the amount of heat transferred, and the change of average particle motion in various types of amounts of matter as solids, liquids and gases. In this unit, we emphasize recording and evaluating data and communicating the results accurately in the investigation. We have three labs that we do during this unit which helps students understand the transfer of heat energy and the differences in energy flow.
