My classroom library is in the beginning stages of development. I am excited to grow my library and offer a variety of books to my students. The books that I am requesting will help to improve inclusivity and promote exploration into the world of STEM. Children are naturally curious about each other and the world around them and having access to these books will foster that curiosity and expose my students to the wonderful world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. With the addition of these new books, my 3rd graders will bloom and grow. The books in this project will help to lay the foundation for a Growth Mindset. The topics in the pages of these books will help to build perseverance, creativity, critical thinking skills, and above all encourage believing in oneself. My students will love getting their hands on these books and will have the opportunity to check them out to read at home with their family or under their desk on our special Flashlight Friday reading time.
