These materials will help to provide an exploratory environment for students to challenge their gross motor skills and improve their ability to learn at school. These materials will be utilized at school to support students who have IEPs or 504 Plans, specifically for students on the Autism Spectrum. Self-regulation and meeting the students' unique sensory-movement thresholds is critical for these children to be receptive to learning. The crawling tunnel helps reinforce reciprocal movement for development of bilateral integration. The balance seat will allow children to work on balance reactions and strengthening their visual tracking skills while seated during therapy. The tap/play color changing light center will provide a cause and effect activity to work on students' balance skills. The mirror play center will help provide students with visual feedback, improve body scheme, and provide strength and proprioceptive sensory input while students are on their stomachs doing activity. Thank you for your consideration.
