This year, my students have been very interested in exploring nature. By beginning this unit, the students will get to experience one cycle of nature firsthand. During the unit, we will be able to read a lot of fiction and nonfiction stories to support our learning. By candling the eggs, the students will be able to watch the changes of the eggs very closely over 21 days. We will then be able to use this unit as a way to introduce new vocabulary and write about our experience. I am excited to see how this unit will continue to spark their interest in nature!
