This light table will be a versatile tool for my students. Students with special needs often need a variety of sensory experiences to help them learn. This light table will give them visual sensory input that they might need in order to learn. This light table will allow my students the opportunity to develop their social and early academic skills while getting needed sensory input. This light table will open the door to learning cooperation and negotiating play interactions with their classmates. They can learn about early developing math, science, and literacy skills. With this light table, they can use many of the materials we already have in our classroom. Things like magnet tiles, see-through blocks, tissue paper, tangrams, see-through letters, and many more.
