I would love to diversify our library collection by adding books written in Spanish for our Spanish speaking students. These books will be available for every student and staff member at our school. This project is important to me because I want every child in our school to "see" themselves in our library books. That can be frustrating when the main character doesn't look like them or speak their language. I would like to see our Spanish speaking students have more choices when checking out books from our elementary school's library.
