We work hard in our classroom and working hard means we sit to write, read, solve difficult math problems or write interview questions to local scientists. We also like to focus on movement and stimulating our bodies. I know that sitting still in ordinary chairs can be really tough on our bodies. We can feel anxious or uncomfortable in school if our bodies are uncomfortable. When our studies in school begin to tackle hard and relevant history and real life science, we need to sit and focus as much as we need to move and play throughout our school days and these chairs will make it possible for us work with greater focus and ease on our various science, history and literacy projects. I cultivate a love of learning on many different levels as an educator. Comfortable and ergonomic seating will help me to have students who feel happier, more settled and ready for the challenging and engaging learning journey that I work to bring them on each year.
