Most of the supplies I am requesting are those that were lost or damaged due to hurricanes and tornadoes in our area. All of our 5th grade classrooms have been relocated to the gymnasium. What is left of our classroom supplies are currently being stored in cardboard boxes in the bleachers. I am having to rebuild my classroom from scratch. These items will be so useful in keeping our areas neat and tidy. Several supplies will also be used to revamp our small groups. Because students missed a lot of school last year due to COVID, I am teaching on different academic levels. Therefore, at times I am having to teach students in a small group setting. These items will help in organizing the materials for these groups.
