People often have misconceptions about what agriculture is, and my students are no exception. Most have no experience with anything ag related so they don't know that agriculture is increasingly high tech or about the high tech jobs that agri industry supports. We learn about precision agriculture in class and with these drones; they would actually be able to experience this first hand. Our raised garden beds are the perfect 'fields' for them to learn about this powerful aspect of precision agriculture where each individual plant matters to the outcome.
