These books will enhance our classroom library with more diversity to reach other populations of students and help inclusiveness within our library. Reading is the pathway to the world. I want my students to be able to experience new people, places and times. They will be able to do this with the help of some new books filled with diverse characters and places. The best way to increase their interest in reading is to keep supplying engaging books. My students love to read and this will help them experience new people and places and see beyond our school.
