As the school nurse, I see students from all grade levels on a daily basis. I give water for hydration and use ice to make ice packs for minor injuries. Due to a recent issue with our water system and COVID-19 restrictions, many of our water sources in the building are not available for use by myself or the students. The clinic sink only has lukewarm water. I have to go to the cafeteria on the opposite side of the building to fill a small cooler with ice for use. A water dispenser would allow my students to have fresh, clean water as needed and an ice dispenser would make ice for ice packs readily available and easily accessible.
