I have a wonderfully big Music room with plenty of space for these new instruments! The sight of the ukuleles hanging in the room will be exciting to students of all grade levels. It will provide motivation for the younger students and will be the special project for the 5th graders. Playing the ukulele will allow these students to really put their musical knowledge and training into action -- maintaining a steady beat, playing with rhythmic accuracy, developing hand-eye-finger coordination, and gaining accompanying skills. I can't wait to give them this opportunity!
