In my media lessons, I create a copy of the book we're reading together and share it with all the students. That way they can all see the book and zoom in and out. With the tablets I hope to receive, I will take the book lessons one step further by creating activities that allow the students to interact with the book. Not only will they be able to answer real-time assessment questions about what we're reading, but they will be able to draw or write directly on the pages to imagine other characters, etc. Following our shared reading of the book, I will include virtual tours of the place we read about, as well as pictures and videos to expand their understanding.
