I want my students to have an opportunity to get their brains thinking through science, technology, engineering, art and math throughout their school day. Our classroom should be a fun learning environment that will spark student innovation. Students will be able to build and create with the SmartMax Flower Set. Students will be able to imagine and design with Gears and Magna-Tiles. There will be so many possibilities with the materials on the list to encourage students to be thinkers. Providing an opportunity to engage in STEAM learning during the school day will give my students time to create and imagine with their classmates. The bonus is that oral language will be encouraged as they problem-solve through different activities, giving them an opportunity to be engineers and scientists!
