I have the honor of teaching young eager children how to read. I would love to give my students every opportunity that they deserve to learn to read. With this technology I can offer them possibilities beyond the traditional classroom. I am asking for 3 iPads so that more of my students have the chance to use technology during centers. While I am working with small groups students will use these to enhance their learning. These opportunities range from working on their own individual reading path to providing them the choice of learning activity. There are many programs that are geared towards reading. All of which will strengthen their skills and encourage them to read. This will benefit all students no matter what level they are currently at. iPads are simple for students to use independently and offer more choices when choosing applications. Students will be able to get the most out of their independent center time while using this device.
