My classroom is in a small town in Central Illinois. I have a class of Kindergarteners that are very active learners. If they are actively engaged in learning, they will remember and use the materials in other areas. We often sing and dance to remember our sight words and letter sounds. They enjoy using the manipulatives that we have or that I have made during center time. Many of these items are "wearing out".
