I am introducing a photography component to my digital arts class and I am trying to get cameras for my students to use. I am very excited to bring photography back to my school. Photography can serve a lot of different purposes. One in particular is telling a story. Whether that's a personal or creative story or documentation for yearbook, photos can be very powerful. I am seeking to acquire a new DSLR camera so that my students can learn the fundamentals of photography. I want my class to have enough cameras so students can comfortably have access to one for my class. I look forward to seeing students use these new skills to document, create, and explore a variety of themes throughout my class. Students will also be able to enter photography competitions and showcases too!
