I teach graphic design and I have a yearbook class and I am also having my students to create a student newspaper for the first time in over 15 years. This newspaper will be student created for students. My yearbook and newspaper class are together, so some students will be working on the yearbook and some will be working on the newspaper. One of the biggest obstacles I am having is that my class consists of 37 students and I only have 1 good camera and 3 old cameras that work. I tend to use the good camera myself and only a few chosen students can use it. The other 3 cameras must be shared with 37 students. I also teach a photography unit in graphic design. I desperately need good working DSLR cameras to teach photography. My dream is to have 15 good cameras, but I know that would be very expensive.
