Some of the engineering challenges that we have been doing are making a maglev cars, drag racers, pinewood derbies, carts for sphero robots to pull through mazes. scribble bots, rockets, bridges , and more. The students draw sketches and want to make things out of wood or plastic. The tools in our shop are so outdated that we are unable purchase replacement parts. Even though the students cannot use this equipment, because of safety reasons, they can draw the plan on the wood or plastic. Then I can cut it for them.

About my class
