Classes will be able to rotate through using the Spike Prime Lego Robotics kits to build robots and solve problems. The robots will also be used for our Robotics team that meets after school to compete with other local schools in programming, research and innovation! The hands-on problem solving building and engineering projects will help students think creatively and work together. This type of learning will help create students who have the ability solve any future challenge both in the workplace or in life. I will use the Lego Robotics kits with small groups and then quarantine or sterilize the materials for the next group. The ability to work on this type of project will be a much needed change to all of the screen only learning they have been participating in this school year.
