All our students wear uniform shirts our school provides. This ensures all children come to school dressed on equal footing. Uniforms provide not only a sense of equality but also a sense of community. This sense of community is reflected in our school's "Borrow Closet" program. The "Borrow Closet" allows our school and parents to donate uniform clothing to the students, and allows students to trade in clothing as they continue to grow. This sustainable program helps our school community stay strong and united. Our community does an admirable job of taking care of each other. As the Colorado Springs area continues to grow, we are welcoming more and more students to our school. As classroom sizes grow, our school is facing a challenge when it comes to keeping our "Borrow Closet" stocked with uniforms in a variety of sizes and colors. I humbly ask the Donors Choose community to donate larger sized shirts for our older students who most often find themselves giving their now too small clothing to younger students and struggle to find replacements. Thank you for your time and I sincerely hope you consider donating shirts to our school.
