My students are engaged when music is added to what we are learning. My goal is to give them the hands-on experience of music and the instuments that create the beats that they love. Music in the classroom has been shown to enhances the development of the whole child. Instruments help develop fine motor skills as we hold and play the various instruments. We will also learn patterns by creating and keeping different beats. Through music we will learn to count as we keep the beat, we will learn to wait our turn, and create a beautiful world through music.
