I use a macro lens camera daily to show the following things to my students close up: *surface finishes *defects *scratches and cracks *welding anomalies *clearances and tolerance *numerous things that can only be seen close up, one person at a time. Currently, these images are projected on a screen in poor quality. A high definition screen would greatly enhance their understanding and comprehension. I often demonstrate the use of a tool or procedure under the camera so everyone can see close up what I’m doing. Again, the images are not projected in the best quality and it’s sometimes difficult to see the detail of the operation.
