I want to be able to award my students with new books to take home and cherish. I have reading incentive programs in place, but due to COVID, we are not allowing students to take home the library books. I want to ensure my low level readers, as well as all students have the chance to participate in the incentive programs. Many of my students do not have appropriate reading materials at home. I want to ensure the students have access to books during the summer months. I plan to evaluate the need and send books home with students who do not have any.
