So many experiences have been cut short this year. However this is one I can complete to the fullest and my learners will get more then just Science knowledge out of this! Students will learn empathy, care, measurements, responsibility, data collection, Biology, Basic needs and so much more from having their own hermit crab to care for in the classroom! I completed this project when I was younger and its so engaging! Students will remember this project for years to come. Each student will be given a hermit crab and will be paired with a partner where they will set up their habitat and care for their crabs! Students will be responsible for the care of the crabs every day they are in school.
