We are an enthusiastic and active bunch of 5th graders. Unfortunately, our schedule has us eating at the last lunch shift, so it is a long time between breakfast and lunch. This can make it difficult for my students to maintain focus - they get hungry! During the late morning, we enjoy a brain break. Our break includes a quick activity, a calming video, and a snack. However, with 18 mouths to feed we have run out of snacks. These snacks will provide much needed nourishment to help my kids feel cared for and focused.
