Students are eager to learn new things, but have limited opportunities and resources. As we reimagine teaching and learning in the digital age amongst a global pandemic, it is important that now more than ever students have access to online learning opportunities. In my science class, the i-Pad would allow me to download interactive and project-based applications for students to work in collaborative groups and explore 3-D models, simulations, and digital labs. It would also provide students with opportunities to Facetime with people in the STEM field so they can broaden their understanding and interest in college and careers in science. This is especially important for my minority students who sometimes otherwise wouldn't have this opportunity.
