These seats will allow my students to sit comfortably throughout the classroom while they are learning. Studies show that providing flexible seating options for students increases their comfort in the classroom which, in turn, increases their levels of productivity and engagement. Having these flexible seating options in my classroom will allow me to cater my instruction to my students needs, and meet with them in an environment where they are most comfortable. If funded, this project will provide flexible seating for primary aged students this year and in the years to come.
