My students benefit from having hands-on-materials at school. During COVID, each student needs to have their own sensory, fine motor bins, separate centers, and in order to take breaks and learn each day. These items such as: Theraputty, kinetic sand, sensory tubes, and Squigglys will help with their sensory needs. They will learn self coping strategies. The Nuts and Bolts, the Numberbots, and Icecream counting cones will help with math small group counting and make it fun and engaging. The AlphaBots will help get students interested in identifying their letters for a play/reading center. These items will help students keep actively engaged and keeping learning fun even when wearing a mask and social distancing.
