A 2nd monitor will help students in the virtual classroom by being able to see a virtual whiteboard and view additional materials that assist in learning. For example, in math, we need the ability to use a whiteboard as well as pull up the actual worksheets and assignments simultaneously. In science, virtual resources from TpT will give students the ability to view and explore more visual opportunities. As teachers, we constantly have to switch screens, sometimes by using 2 computers that can be unreliable in terms of connections and viewing purposes. A 2nd monitor will allow classes to flow easier as we will be able to display additional materials for all to see.
