We have been online since March 2020. Our school went on Spring Break, and we never returned. While we have all adapted as best as we could to be online for school, there were some gaps in our programs and curriculum for students. I have used Study.com with my homeroom students in the past, and they liked the ease of use, intuitive design, and the personalized learning. Using Study.com will help me differentiate for a wide variety of students in my class: everyone from those who need help with advanced writing skills and for students who still struggle with subject-verb agreement. This is personalized learning for my students in their academic subjects. They can use this site at home, while we are still online, to review concepts, look at five-minute lessons, engage with the animated examples, and test their knowledge at the end. The site provides me data on all of the students using it, so I can use data-driven techniques to help plan the direction of my classes. Differentiation can be difficult since my classes are based on interest in computers and design, not their reading level. This means students come into Graphic Design with a wide gap in their writing, math, and reading levels. Study.com is a great solution to help supplement their knowledge by focusing on what they know and helping them improve. They would find success not just in my class, but in all of their classes. CTE isn't just about our programs but the strength of learning of our students. They need to know academic skills and technical skills
