These seating options will be used to give my students seating choices through out the school day. Many of the seating options that are being provided are movement enhanced, such as yoga balls and Bouncy Bands. Many of my students struggle with being expected to sit still day in and day out. Providing alternative seating options will help my students maintain focus in the classroom. Since doing distance learning, students have been in their homes, which is a place that they commonly feel comfortable in. I want to do my best to create a comfortable environment, while maintaining focus and engagement. Another reason for providing my students with flexible seating is because this is a counseling enriched program, I want my students to have a comfortable environment throughout group and individual therapy sessions.
