Being a reading interventionist, one of my main responsibilities is to introduce new strategies using technology online that target the "close" reading process. At my school, I wear many hats and I facilitate a vast diversity of students' and teachers' needs alike. Currently, the capacity of my school budget has been limited and challenged due to the Coronavirus because the demand for mobile devices has increased significantly. As the reading interventionist, having an extra Chromebook would assist me in giving individual reading assessments and activities that are customized according to the student's skill level. I would be able to load and assign specific online books, as one size does not fit all when it comes to our children's needs and abilities. As the librarian, I need the letter cutter to make bulletin boards, signs etc.
