I have been teaching for almost 20 years now, and a lot has changed in that time! The traditional classroom looks so different now, even before COVID. There is extensive research about using STEAM in classrooms today, which means students build things, problem solve, and work in different types of groups. The STEAM activities I have chosen will last for future classes to come. It uses math and science when students are problem solving! It has multiple ways to solve one problem. Why wouldn't we want to move Full Steam Ahead with this project!
