My students thrive when given hands-on engaging lessons that push them to try new things! Having a sensory table will allow me to provide new and diverse play opportunities to increase language skills and to provide my students sensory breaks when in moments of frustration. My library needs updated! These books will help me use more diverse materials and to use stories with characters/plots that my students can relate to. My students love to point out which characters are like them but my library is limited with diverse stories. I believe that making this connection will create a stronger desire for reading in my students and to help encourage them in new ways. Teachers Pay Teachers has wonderful resources/materials that I can use for all of my students! Visuals are my #1 go-to to help my students learn and maintain new skills. With TpT money, I would love to purchase themed activities to help my students build upon previous skills.
