A second monitor will help me monitor my student needs as I present a variety of lessons. It will help me see who needs more assistance, who is understanding along with who might be off task. A second monitor helps distance learning feel more like in person learning as I can monitor the class as a whole while presenting lessons. Students need and deserve to have the best learning environment as possible and having a second monitor will help me give that to my students I this unusual educational environment.
