Students will also expand on their abilities to connect logical thinking, life skills, and technology. In addition to these, my students will use the 3D printer to create unique parts and tools for our STEM activities. I visualize 3D printing as a multi-faceted opportunity to raise my students’ awareness about new technology, engineering, and mathematics, while stimulating their curiosity and creativity. The students in my third through fifth grade classes will use these materials to create models of many different scientific principals. Examples include polygons, angles, and 3D graphic models.
