Pre-K students are just beginning to learn their letters and sounds. Once they start learning their letters, they love to associate the letters with their friends name that begins with that letter. When we talk about a letter they love to say Oh my friend "Jane" begins with letter J. Letter J is for "Jane". Learning letters and sounds lays the foundation for beginning reading. The Alphabet Sounds Teaching Tubs I have asked for will increase their letter and sound recognition. They will help students increase their knowledge of letter recognition and the sounds the letters make. The Alphabet teaching tubs will be the Gateway into my pre-k students learning to read on their own!
