By allowing students freedom to safely move while seated, it works multiple body systems. Students’ kinesthetic learning needs are met when they are offered a multitude of ways to move throughout their day. As a way of managing behavior in a positive manner, I like to anticipate a need, such as movement, and preventively meet the need before negative behavior presents. I currently have one wobble seat that is shared with the class and the most coveted piece of furniture in the room, but with COVID restrictions, it’s difficult to maintain cleanliness.
