With these new titles, students will be able to not only learn new perspectives through windows but to also learn about people with similar experiences through mirrors. Titles like "Kind and the Dragonflies" and "The Henna Wars" give a perspective and story that our classroom library is missing. Not only are there fiction books that support our mirrors and windows work, but there are many nonfiction titles like "When Stars are Scattered" as well. These titles are not only wanted by students but also recommended by a training I have attended put on by PBS where the CCBC recommended these books to diversify classroom libraries.
