My district has provided all students with devices this year due to the fluid nature of COVID-19 and the possibility of learning from home, and although we are so thankful for the devices, we need headphones. The district has provided us with earphones for testing, however, my students have very small ears and the earphones do not stay in because they are too big. My class needs headphones in order to hear educational applications that support the students learning. We use an application that provides literacy support as well as math support every day, however, with the students not having access to headphones, they struggle to hear what the application is helping them with. With headphones, the students can focus on the supports being provided much better. They will be less distracted with what is going on around them and be able to focus much better with access to headphones!
